Marlin Delay

Marlin delay…The plan was to refuel the plane tomorrow (Friday) and depart for Guam on Saturday. However; at Pizza night at Rober Remiers, I learn that there is a Marlin Tournament Saturday. $40.00 later I’m a member of the Majuro Marlin Club and fishing the tournament Saturday! Departure for Guam now set for Sunday pending the Majuro fishing report……

Nov 15th Update

Nov 15th update: Currently in Majuro Atoll, Marshall Islands. Three 55 gallon drums of fuel shipped from Honolulu on Oct 1st are currently being off loaded from the ship. It’s possible that I will get the plane refueled today and take off for Guam tomorrow morning.

After over a year of planning this adventure and managing endless permits and paperwork I managed to land here in Majuro without a landing permit. On my way now to sort this out.

Very limited internet access here.
